| Having a friendly debate with some teammates - what is worse in Slopitch:
1. Swinging and missing COMPLETELY (no foul tip) for a strikeout
Or
2. Watching the ball hit the board for strike 3
My vote is swinging and missing is worse. I know it happens but we should all be able to make contact with the ball regardless.

| A few years ago I joined this league. I'm good at fielding and defense, but my batting is terrible. I don't swing often, but I can't hit the ball hard or deep. In batting cage practice, I averaged two hits per 10 balls. I want to stop striking out swinging, as some games I never hit anything. How can I improve?
