My daughter Clara (9 years old) will again be doing a Charity Lemonade Stand during the playoff weekend (Saturday - Crosby and Sunday - Milliken). She had a fantastic time the past 2 years doing this and she is super excited to do it again this year to raise money to help find a cure for her sisters condition (thanks to Chris and the USPL execs for allowing us to do it again).

Clara will be doing the Lemonade Stand to raise money to donate to Sick Kids to help find a cure for Rett Syndrome. Clara's younger sister Ava (7 years old) has Rett Syndrome which is a genetic condition that prevents Ava from walking or talking. Ava is currently in a wheelchair and communicates using an eye-gaze computer.

Everyone from the league have been so nice and super supportive of this Lemonade Stand and Clara raised over $2,000 the past few years during the Playoff weekend. We then personally delivered the money to Sick Kids Hospital and my family met all the scientists working on finding a cure. Clara and Ava then attended an event where they both presented Sick Kids with a large cheque of the money raised during the Lemonade Stand.

If you see the Lemonade Stand during the playoff weekend, please come over and buy some Lemonade and Cookies as you will make her day !

thanks,
Herman Facchinelli

Since lemonade is made from freshly squeezed lemons, it's gotta to be healthy and good for you.

Numerous teams took steps back this year, if the question is about the playoffs, the answer is again Starks and the senior division would be Tar from what I read and observed.

Good forward remember this.
Great team leaders will make things that are hard, fun & make things that are not popular to do, cool!

As I look back on 2019, all I can say is thank you. Thank you for embracing me after I was rubbish one night and thank you for your patience. I know that I did not live up to your expectations, but I promise that in 2020, I will exceed them.

Yankees/Astros game last night

I *loved* Correa’s celebration. Celebrating after you win a huge game is great. There should be more of that in Baseball. If we don’t want that, then perhaps ex Blue Jay Happ shouldn’t serve a fastball down the middle.

Pitching mask....Think it's come the time where I look at one of these...
What's everyone use? And why do you like it?

The rip-it will mask protect your face...maybe. My wife wears one on the infield and still got a fat lip when she took a bad hop. Your natural reaction will be to turn your head and those do nothing to protect against that.

Also seen pitchers rocking a Cascade or STX lacrosse helmet. These lacrosse helmets can be pricey retail, but there's almost always someone in the GTA area selling a used one on kijiji (for less than the Worth) if you wanted to go that route.

Last night, the possibility of a met in front of the pitcher was suggested, is this doable?
