The Angels win big on the road in the heat....
The boys pounded out 14 hits en route to a 13-5 victory over
the White Sox up at Valley Park in Shermansdale. The pitching
combination of Kenny Shadle and Chris Fagan was outstanding,
and multi-hit games were turned in by Andrew Smith, Aaron Confer,
Hayes Kelly, Bill Bratten, Kenny Shadle and Dawan Smith. Hayes
went deep with a well-barreled home run, and Aaron Confer became
the first Angel to record 300 all-time hits....
