Sports & More hold on against Glennpeter
Sports & More held the lead the whole game but it wasn't an easy victory as Glennpeter kept it tight every inning. But Sports benefitted from great defense, throwing 2 runners out at home, and timely hitting, to hold on 10-8. Paul Parker had a huge 3-run home run in the 5th inning that proved to be the difference. Phil Golderman went 3 for 3 with an RBI while Jerry Foti and Tom Miller added 2 RBI each. For Glennpeter Rick Wall had an inside the park home run with 3 RBI, while Chad Peek added a triple and 2 RBI. The Scunzianos went a combined 5 for 8, both adding a run and an RBI.
