Rynk's Rolls Late

After being shut out for the first three innings, Rynk's Sports Bar was able to plow through with a five-run fourth to propel them to an 11-4 win over the Superfans Sunday evening. With the win, Rynk's improves to 4-2, while the Supefans fall to 2-5.

Kyle Burnside led the way for Rynks both on the mound and at the plate. Burnside threw another complete game, adding 11 strikeouts to his total in the process. He also went 3-for-7 with five RBI.

All-Star Steve Pinnocoli went 5-for-7 with three RBI in victory.

Vince McClosky gave up 11 runs on 13 hits in the complete-game loss for the Superfans.

The Superfans' All-Star Shawn Swim and the theatrical Angel Silva provided the little offensive threat that the Superfans put forth. Swim was 3-for-4 with a double and a run-batted-in. Silva went 3-for-5 with an RBI.

Following the All-Star break, Rynk's will face their bitter rivals, the Pittston Park Boys, on Sunday, August 21st at noon. The Superfans are off until August 28th - a double-header, as they face Pizza Bella at 1 pm and then Leary's Kork & Keg at 2 pm.
