40+ year old hitter ShawneeAville May 25, 2012 10:35:45 AM Entry ID: 1971775 | Unbelievable Chuck! Bucocky Sports Bureau reports that it was the first triple play ever recorded at Big Pines Filed in a Men'slow pitch softball game with the bases at 64 feet. That pitcher of yours, Dome, Dan, Dom whatever his name is sure has his pitches working that night! |
None May 24, 2012 11:08:17 PM Entry ID: 1971735 | To Mr.Postponed Sheranko can pick up a tree from the woods to hit.. they don't use juiced bats like the Easton Synergy with the blue tape for the Freak with the red tape those 40+ year old guys are just good hitters...hahaha it's a shame people ruin the integrity of this league and use juiced/shaved bats but if thats how you have to relive your youth then guess it makes sense. Joke. |
Postponed Thatsadamnshameville May 24, 2012 7:48:00 PM Entry ID: 1971716 | To bad Teddy's cancelled. Sheranko was wantin to try Desimone sweet easton bat. Is it the secret red and grey one that's droppin "bombs"? It might rule over the miken ultra. Woops. I mean freak 98. Yeah that's it. Freak 98! |

none May 24, 2012 2:57:32 PM Entry ID: 1971689 | Who was the lucky batter??? Must have smoked one down to third and wham bam thank you mam the inning is over. |
Chuck CFE World HQ May 24, 2012 2:37:10 PM Entry ID: 1971683 | One more important fact about the triple-play: Because the bases at Big Pines have posts on the bottom and were already lined up, we left them at 64 feet. Also, the hitter was no slow-poke. Pretty neat to witness and it transpires so quickly that you can't help but ask yourself if what you had just witnessed really happened. In 2006, at Citizens Bank Park I witnessed the Phillies' Todd Pratt hit into a 5-4-3 triple play. |
