I am head coach for Pocono Pride's 12u division and still have openings for the 2013 season. Try outs have passed but we are looking to evaluate anyone that might be interested. | Legal Bat User since day one August 23, 2012 10:56:30 AM Entry ID: 1985865 | does anyone remember the little league pitcher from New Jersey who back in 2006 was hit with a line drive in the chest? since then he hasn't been able to eat, walk,talk and etc. on his own since that day. he was just awarded $14.5 million dollars for his and his families pain and suffering. It MAY cover his medical and rehab costs for the rest of his life. in any case, yes it was a little league player and it was a "freak accident" because the ball hit him in between heart beats and it stopped his heart and oxygen to his brain, and at the time the bat being used "WAS LEGAL", but.... Just think how you would feel if you were using a "LEGAL" bat and YOU did this to someone in OUR league. |
