There is no minimum anyone has to play so I see most teams have 20 or more guys on the roster so what's the problem????? |

It took an hour just to decide how many weeks to push back the start of the season. An hour just to discuss the damn balls. You want to play as an ASA league but you want to make up your own rules. |

Did anybody ever think it could rain on Wednesday which would push us back even more. The problem is know one thinks things over before a decision is made. Also the fact that Canfield's wants to push it back is BULLSHIT they don't have there guy's next week and want to wait until they have a better team. Tommy and Chuck put a lot of work into making sure this league runs right and biothces like you always find somthing to bitch about.Several years ago we voted Gary Garver ( RIP G-man, we miss you!!!) in as president when he didn't even volunteer!He did a great job. You still bitched!! Mader? There's another class act who has helped this league tremendously over the years! We sat at the meetings for 3 hours listening to all kinds of BS about guys coaching and starting the season 2 weeks later and then guys are on vacation so you want to push the season back another week? I knew this was going to happen because the season ended early. Its time for some new blood on the board, all the older guys want to do is bitch. The balls the bats, the schedule. I sat at the meeting and not one of the younger guys said a word about anything. Maybe the older guys should go play in a vet's league or better yet, co-ed! |

Mader persuaded Al into canceling due to unsafe conditions! They didn't wanna see anyone get hurt. It was out of my hands by then. The ump's call. Total bullshit as my whole team had said! So off to pcc to watch some ball and slam some birch beer. |
