Congratulations to Justin Paradiso -- runner-up in the Section 8 Championships at 132lbs. Justin lost in the finals to Freeport's Maurice Irby (voted MOW & COC)who he had beaten twice during the season. Justin injured his ankle in the second period, but managed to finished the match. Congratulations also goes to Chris Broccoli who placed 5th @138 lbs.

Eight Massapequa Wrestlers enter the qualifier with 20+ wins on the season looking to capture the title and a strong seed in the Section 8 Championships. They are Andrew Chicoine (24), Tom Donohue (20), Joe Doria (23), James Girsdansky (22), Adrew Hoffman (25), Justin Paradiso (27), TJ Ragusa (25) and Jake Spero (25).

Massapequa puts eight wrestlers into the finals of the Section 8 Qualifier at Massapequa and crowns five champions: Doria (106lbs), Paradiso (132lbs), Broccoli (138lbs), Vespe (145lbs) and Gungor (285lbs). The Chiefs had a total of fourteen wrestlers qualify for the Section 8 Championships.
