The park is off of I-565 (Hwy 72) near the corner of Oakwood Ave. and Andrew Jackson Way.
Optimist Park is located at 703 Oakwood Avenue, Huntsville, AL.
From the Huntsville hospital district, take Andrew Jackson Way north to Oakwood Ave. Turn right on Oakwood Ave. The park is on the left.
From downtown, take I-565 (Hwy 72) east to the Oakwood Ave exit. Turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp and go through the light at Andrew Jackson Way. The park is on the left.
