2017 AUF FALL PROGRAM

The AUF Lady Hawks will once again offer a Fall Program specifically geared towards being “family friendly” from a scheduling point of view. To that end, the Fall session will be oriented to “Weekends Only” providing a combination of training / team workouts and / or tournament competition … in an effort to “fine tune” each player’s game prior to the start of the Winter High School BBall season. This year’s 2017 Fall program will start on or about September 8th and will conveniently end before the November Thanksgiving holiday.

The AUF program is unique in that it allows its student athletes the opportunity to play a Fall High School sport and concentrate on academics … and still get in enough round ball training to make a difference.  All training sessions will be led by former Pro Player Dewey Ferguson at our centrally located Mercer County training facility.  In addition to skills & drills training, the team will participate in approximately 12 to 14 AAU games with most tournament events being “1 Day Only” venues in an effort not to monopolize family weekends completely.  Two marquee Fall events worth noting that the Lady Hawks will participate in are:

>>>     2-day NCAA Live Period USJN event held at the end of September at Sportika

>>>     Rose Classic held in Brooklyn, New York

Here it should be mentioned that the Rose Classic is a prestigious New York Fall event, sponsored by Nike, that attracts some of the premier talent and interest across the US. Our Lady Hawks will receive Nike uniforms (free of charge) that will be used in participating in this event, as well as, a shooting shirt and T-Shirt. This tournament venue was selected to provide our team and players with the highest visibility possibile ... especially with college just around the corner!

The AUF Coaching Staff views the 2017 Fall program as a necessary extension of its “highly successful” 2017 Spring / Summer campaign … where players continue to build both individual and team oriented skills that peak the interest of college coach’s who are not only interested in talent but “Basketball IQ” as well.

For its 2017 Fall session, the AUF Lady Hawks will maintain a roster under 10 players to maximize playing time and college exposure for all team members.  Interested players and families should contact Coach Mike at 732-991-1138 or by email at mrnsports@cs.com.
