The Moxieball Association (MBA) was founded in 1988 by Game Master William C. Reid. The MBA is the ruling body of Moxieball. Moxieball is a game played with a tennis ball and #10 can on a small court. Moxieball is played much like basketball with some exceptions (See MBA Procedures).
The MBA is made up of four members who serve as league officers, players, coaches, general managers and presidents. Each team participates in a season consisting of 60 games, 20 versus each opponent. The winner of the Regular Season is awarded the United States Navy Spoon Plaque (USNSP). The teams with the best records meet in a playoff series to deterrmine the MBA Champion.
Teams may also compete in MBA sanctioned exhibition tournaments. The winner of such exhibition tournaments is awarded the Jefferson Cup.
Scores and Statistics have been recorded since the Association's inception.
