Moxieball.com Newsletter - Edition XVI - 08/05/2001

Dear Moxieball.com Newsletter subscribers.

During the next few weeks, Commissioner Reid will be actively recruiting Moxieball players
throughout eastern Canada.  His stops will include Prince Edward Island, which is a haven for
young athletes just yearning for that perfect game...  Then he is off to Centreville New
Brunswick where Bud and the boys will be shakin' the recruits out of the woods.

We wish the Commissioner a safe and fruitful trip (more fruitful than the Ireland trip we hope)
and he returns with recruits who might actually play every now and then.

As always, keep your eye on the can and don't bobble!

Moxieball.com Newsletter - Edition XIV - 07/12/2001

Dear MBA Members.

As you may already know, Moxieball.com has been forced to drop www.listbot.com
as its newsletter email provider.  They are requiring members to upgrade or
cancel.  Guess what, we like free!  We have decided to try www.coollist.com as
our email list service.  Let me know what you think since you the fan mean so
much to us at Moxieball.com.

Also, many of you have been chomping at the bit to know what's in the Members
Only section of Moxieball.com (especially you Jeff).  Well, it's now open to the
public.  Simply use the User Name of "mba" and a password of "moxieball" and
you'll get right in!  Of course, if you just used your noggin and viewed the
source html from your browser, you would have found that out already.  Very
secure!!!

Thanks again for your support and as always, keep your eye on the can and don't
bobble.

Sincerely.

MoxieBall.com Newsletter - Edition VII - 08/17/2000

Dear MBA Fans.

As many of you already know, the Moxieball web site www.moxieball.com has
been unreachable for several weeks now. The agent, responsible for making
sure that our domain name (MOXIEBALL.COM) is visible on the internet, has
seemingly disappeared.	Our web host, Gary Cyr at
www.businessshowroom.com, is also affected but is working on a resolution
as we speak.

We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused by the web site's outage.	We
estimate that we will be back on-line within two weeks.

-------------

We will soon be posting a schedule of chat sessions with your favorite MBA
stars.	Look for this in early September.

As always, keep your eye on the can and don't bobble.

brush up on your knowledge of MoxieBall before hand though. This quiz is
geared for the more serious MBA fan. Even our esteemed Commissioner
William C. Reid struggled with this one.

MoxieBall.com Newsletter - Edition V - 07/14/2000

Dear MBA Fans;

The Commissioner of the MBA William C. Reid announces planned visit to
Italy in hopes of expanding league operations.	On his journey, the
Commissioner hopes to "recruite players, look for suitable new franchises
and a possible site for an international headquarters." Bill's last visit
to europe was relatively unsuccessful in it's goals. Here is an excerpt
from Bill's last trip to europe:

---------------------------------------------------------------------
MBA League Reporter:
Your trip doesn't seem like it was very fruitful.

Commissioner:
No, it was a disappointment.

MBA League Reporter:
Do you think that the league may persue expansion in other regions in
light of your recent trip to england.

Commissioner:
I think that maybe we should look to the third world countries in the
future.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

We hope that the Commissioner has a fruitful trip and has some great
stores to tell upon his return. Look for a post-trip interview at
www.moxieball.com upon the Commissioner's return from Italy later this
month.

Thanks to our new fans for signing up for the MBA Newsletter. And
remember, keep your eye on the can and don't bobble.

Dear MBA Fans;
The Awards Ceremony and Annual Meeting following the Fourth MBA Season
were held this past Sunday in conjunction with Father's Day events.
Verbest Nerve Food's Jon Reid hosted the gathering.
All members were in attendence for the festivities. Tim of Modox was
presented the Fourth Season MBA Champion Shirt and USNSP for best regular
season winning percentage. Chris, Jon and Bill received some less coveted
awards which can be found at
http://hammer.prohosting.com/~moxie/mbabanq4.htm
Directly after the Awards Ceremony the Annual Meeting began. There was
far less discussion than previous meetings but it was a fruitful meeting
none the less. A handful of new or modified rules were voted in. The
minutes for this meeting can be found at
http://hammer.prohisting.com/~moxie/mbameet4.htm
On a side note, the MBA web site is still waiting to be moved to it's
final destination of www.moxieball.com. We are still ironing out some of
the details. Look for the new location to be available by the end of the
week.
Sincerely,

Dear MBA Fans;
This publication marks the first edition of the Official MBA Newsletter.
Thank you for taking the time to sign up.
We at MBA Headquarters have many things in store for you this year.
The MBA web site will be moving to it's final destination
WWW.MOXIEBALL.COM. Commissioner of the MBA, Bill Reid, took time out of
his busy schedule to make this possible.
The Moxieball web site is going through some major renovations this month.
New areas have been added like the Awards Banquet, Annual Meetings, and
Exhibition Play sections. The Procedures section is being enhanced with
the rule books from each previous season. Many new photos have been added
throughout the site. Please take the time to browse the site.
There has also been movement regarding holding a simple Awards Banquet and
Annual Meeting for the Fourth MBA Season. Details will be announced when
they become available.
Again, thanks for signing up for the MBA Newsletter. And remember, keep
your eye on the can and whatever you do, don't bobble.
Sincerely,
