2022 - Scrappers beat the Trojans

The Scrappers won game 1 off the arm of Ryan Hazlett. The Scrappers then fell down 2-1 in a 5 game series. Ryan Hazlett would come back and shut down the Trojans to lead the Scrappers to their first ever World Series win.

2023 - Grays beat the Aces in 2 games  

The Aces and Grays squared off in the World Series. The Grays had a rocky start to the season, but entered the World Series on a 10 game winning streak and the #1 seed. The Aces were the #3 seed, and finished with a 7-7 record in the regular season, and upset the Scrappers in the Semifinals.

In game 1, MVP and Cy Young winner Ryan Hazlett had pitched a terrific game, striking out 7 of the 9 batters he faced, and was perfect until the last inning. Recently signed free agent Johnny Dragisich hit a walk off home run with two outs in the bottom of the third to break up the perfect game and win game 1 for the Grays, by a score of 1-0. The Aces had gotten runners in scoring position every inning, but Rookie of the Year Ryan Vargo was able to shutout the Aces despite good hitting. The Aces had runners on second and third with 1 out in the 2nd and 3rd inning, but Vargo was able to get out of both jams. Most Improved Player Ryan Healy went 2-4 with a walk in the game.

Game 2 was much different, as the Grays jumped to a 4-0 lead in the first inning, and never looked back. Ryan Vargo started the scoring with an RBI walk, followed by a 3 run triple from Silver Slugger, Golden Glove, and Manager of the Year Zeke Daure, which ended up being the winning runs for the Grays in Game 2. Vargo remained stellar on the mound, only allowing one run in the game, which ended in a final score of 5-1. Ryan Vargo was named the World Series MVP after two solid pitching performances.

The Grays won their first World Series in franchise history, and the Aces had lost in their first ever World Series appearance.

2024 - Knights beat the Grays in 3 games

2024 was the first season with 5 teams, and the two who prevailed were the Grays and Knights. The Grays finished the season 10-2 and in 1st place. After a nailbiter semifinal series vs the Yoties, the Grays were ready to bounce back to win their 2nd straight championship. The Knights had ended in 3rd place with a 7-5 record. They took down the Jokers in the semifinals, winning the series 2-0. In their regular season matchup, the Grays won 2 of 3.

Game 1 was all Grays, as the first 6 of 7 batters scored. Zeke Daure and Johnny Dragisich each had 3 RBIs in the game, and hit back-to-back home runs in the 1st inning. Dylan Kickler was stellar on the mound, only allowing 1 hit.

Game 2 was even, but the Knights came out on top. Colin Ruggeri had allowed 2 men on base in the top of the 1st but escaped the jam with no damage. The Knights got their only run from an RBI single from John Ziegler, bringing in Jake Monroe. Ruggeri then finished the game on the mound, to win the game for the Knights. In the 2nd and 3rd, Ruggeri allowed runners on 1st and 2nd, but got out of each jam.

Game 3 took 5 innings, as the Knights prevailed to win their first championship in franchise history. The Knights took the lead in the top of the 2nd by an error, but the Grays came back and got 2 runs in the bottom of the 2nd, from two RBI walks. The Knights were down to their final out, when Ryan Challinor came all the way around the bases to score after Cy Young Dylan Kickler attemtped a behind the back throw to first base. The game then went into extra innings. Both teams got runners aboard in the 4th, but couldn't get any runs. In the top of the 5th, Challinor hit an RBI single to score Monroe, who hit a double with one out. Ruggeri then finished the job on the mound to finish the comeback.

The Knights won their first World Series in franchise history, and the Grays had lost in the World Series for the first time in team history.
