A Sylvania high school water polo team has been in existence for over 30 years in some form and has served hundreds of athletes during that time.  Under the direction of former club director, Pete Dankert, Sylvania Water Polo expanded and began offering clinics and sessions for elementary age through high school age athletes year-round.  In the spring of 2017 the club split its high school team from the winter/spring/summer age-group and created Glass City Polo.  Glass City Polo serves all teams and athletes in the Toledo area and offers opportunities for younger players to get into the sport. Now, Sylvania Water Polo is strictly a high school age club that competes throughout the state of Ohio during the fall high school season. Director and Head coach is Alberto Almeida.  Girls Head coach is Kaeli Peer.
