What does Individual Registration Include?

Individual players looking to register with the league will be assigned to a team based on age and skill level. Registration for training includes weekly training to improve their proficiency and knowledge. Training sessions are run by qualified coaches with a unique approach to the game. While most programs in Canada focus on a player's execution, (Technical ability), our program targets a players game understanding and decision-making ability. Sessions are based on real-game situational scenarios designed for a player to increase his Soccer I.Q,  by providing them with the principles of the game and equipping them to eventually play at the highest levels.

Practices will be held in WRDSB schools on Tuesdays & Wednesdays starting October 11th until December 15th.
Tuesdays:        6:30pm to 7:45pm for U13 & under
                         7:45pm-9pm for U14 & up
Thursdays;       6:30pm to 7:45pm for U13 & under
                         7:45pm-9pm for U14 & up

Which division will I play in?

We use the training, to gauge the level of each player. Based on these results, players may play up or down a division. We have 5 divisions scheduled for this year;

Fourth -       U7-U9

Third -         U10-U11

Second-      U12-U13

First -           U14-U15

Premier-       U16-U18

The starting point is the birth year, however the division you will play in will also be based on skill and size. This is to ensure competitive games for all participants

I've never played Futsal before. What is it like?
Futsal is the official indoor game for FIFA. We use full official FIFA Futsal rules. We play on gym floors, use a low- bounce ball and our nets are 3m x 2m. The game permits substitutions on the fly and timeouts for teams. Players have 4 seconds to restart play.  Fouls are counted, as the fifth foul results in a penalty kick from the second marker, and any subsequent foul is a penalty from the penalty marker.
