2020 Roundball Classic Info

Event Name: Buffalo Wild Wings Roundball Classic Basketball Showcase

Purpose: All-Star Showcase Event for High School players; Youth Showcase event.

Dates: Friday, March 27 -- Saturday, March 28 -- Sunday, March 29, 2020

Venues: Friday, March 27 & Saturday, March 28 at St. Maria Goretti Gael Center; Sunday, March 29 at Hagerstown Community College ARCC Arena

Mission: To give youth an opportunity to participate in a high level showcase event. The RBC also gives High school players a platform to perform in front of numerous college scouts; and give committed players a chance to showcase their skills in a top level all-star event for a charitable cause.

Additional Info: The largest All-Star Basketball Showcase in America. An incredible 14 high school all-star/showcase games and four youth showcase games. Over 900+ alumni have went on to play college basketball---one is currently playing in the NBA, one is currently playing in the WNBA and numerous are playing professionally around the world. The RBC also had one player follow his football dreams and is now playing in the NFL (Dallas Cowboys).

MEDIA CREDENTIALS INFO

The Roundball Classic issues media credentials under the priorities listed below. These priorities are designed to achieve efficient use of space available for working members of the media at the Roundball Classic events.

The Roundball Classic media relations director is responsible for administering this policy. Credential requests must be made by sports editors or sports directors no later than five days prior to an event by contacting Roundball Classic Public Relations Director Rick Reeder 240-291-1246

Priorities
1. Originating radio and television personnel involved in a live television or radio broadcast of a Roundball Classic game.

2. Daily newspapers, wire services, and regional and national publications that report on high school athletics.

3. Officially recognized Roundball Classic daily publications and daily student electronic media outlets that regularly and substantially report on high school athletics.

4. Official websites of college player scouting or high school athletics 

5. Non-daily newspapers or publications that regularly and substantially report on high school athletics or all-star events.

The Roundball Classic Public Relations Director reserves the right to change this policy at any time.
