The Gametime Star 01 Debut Weekend! After 7 weeks of skills work and training, the GTStars01 played their very first tournament. It started with a challenge by having to play a well seasoned Exclusive 01 team in our first game ever. As we progressed through the day our girls synced in their abilities of hitting and fielding. Our highlight of day 1 occurred when we tied 4-4 with a championship team, the OK Machine 01. A complete success as a new team! The remainder of the tournament was a battle of exhaustion and wit as we played 9 total games including a 2 hour battle with the OK Force 01 in a double ITB. Good job ladies as we are now on the road to continued improvement as we get to that next level. Keep working! |

The Gametime Stars 01 are well on the road to becoming contenders. Going 3-0 in the pool and taking third place in the finals isn't too shabby for a new team that is only playing their 2nd tournament together. We are hammering the ball and playing with more confidence every game! These ladies know that work equates to success, so let's get back to working even harder and more successes will come! |

For the love of the game! We are really coming together as a team. Every tournament, every game, every inning, we build. And this chance to come and play this one day tournament is another chance to get on the field and do what we love to do. Ah, but unfortunately we were rained out! And here we are ready for another big weekend! The weather was great on Saturday, windy and dusty on Sunday! A lot of good hits were made by all our players! And several good plays too. But, it just seems that all the things we have been working hard at to improve are working out, and all the things we haven't been working on need work. We will try to cover a lot of that during our winter work. We were in postion to show and missed it by one point. Let's get that extra work in and fix it! Hall of Swing Tournament coming up! The Hall of Swing! One of those fun tournaments. An WOW, did our Super M characters look great! And our parents did some fantastic work on team fundraising. But on the other side, we had two more game loses where we MISSED IT BY ONE POINT! (That's 6 games that's happened to us!) It's now time for our 4-month Winter Workout ladies. Time for Speed & Agility training. Time for Sandbag Tossing. Time to climb a 15 foot rope with no feet. Time to hammer thousands of softballs and soccer balls off of tees. So by the time we come back in the Spring, we'll be ready to bring those extra points! Bracket |
