The Yellow Springs Youth Baseball, Inc. Board of Directors have instituted Codes of Conduct for 2020 that all players, parents and coaches must agree to abide by.

As our goal is to promote the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so participants may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children, and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens. An emphasis on fair play and respect for all participants is a key element of this goal so we have developed these Codes of Conduct for all players, coaches and parents.

These Codes of Conduct are a covenant between the players, parents and coaches to abide by the rules of the game, as well as maintain a cooperative attitude and uphold the ideals of fair play and sportsmanship. All players, parents and coaches must review their respective Code of Conduct and provide the league a signed copy acknowledging their agreement to abide by their applicable Code of Conduct.

Failure to abide by the applicable Code of Conduct may result in appropriate disciplinary action, including but not limited to immediate removal from a league event, suspension or removal as a coach or player and/or dismissal from the league.
