We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 6 of 2025.
Our Class A selection is Kyle Johnson of Bangor. During the Rams 42-14 win against Windham, Kyle ran 23 times for 302 yards and 4 touchdowns while also scoring a two-point conversion. He joins other alumni such as Jackson Varney(2023), Max Clark(2021), Joey Morrison(2021), Jonny Lyon(2019), Dane Johnson(2014 & 2015), Logan Lanham(2013), Cody Chapman(2012), Zeb Tuell(2011), Joe Seccareccia(2010), and Lonnie Hackett(2009).
Our Class B selection for a second consecutive week is Tatum Doucette of Messalonskee. During the Eagles 26-7 win at Farmington against Mt. Blue, Tatum completed 18 of 24 passes for 197 yards and 2 touchdowns while having 21 carries for 160 yards and 2 touchdowns. This is the sixth time Tatum has been selectd: he was also picked once in 2022, once in 2023, and twice in 2024. He joins other alumni such as Austin Pelletier(2016 & 2017), Jack Bernatchez(2014 & 2015), Jake Dexter(2013), Sam Dexter(2011), Justin Tinsman(2010), and Keenan Knox(2010).
Our Class C selection is Jaydiin Ruiz of Medomak Valley. During the Panthers 40-14 win over York, Jaydiin had 22 carries for 211 yards and 5 touchdowns with 2 two-point conversions while making 3 tackles on defense. He was also selected twice in 2024 and joins Aaron Reed(2023) as the selected alumni from Medomak Valley.
Our Class D selection is Jayden Horton of Madison. During the Bulldogs 36-6 victory in Lincoln against Mattanawcook Academy, Jayden ran 7 times for 213 yards with 2 touchdowns, he can 2 passes for 39 yards and a touchdown, he scored a two-point conversion, and on defense he had 13 tackles. He joins other alumni such as Sam Whalen(2017), Chase Malloy(2015), and Cody Saucier(2014).
Our 8 Man Large School Class selection for a second consecutive week is Ignatius McGrath of Yarmouth. During the Clipps 52-6 win in Kittery against Traip Academy, "Iggy" completed 14 of 17 for 352 yards and 6 touchdowns. This is the third time this season he has been selected and he joins other alumni such as Michael McGonagle(2022 & 2023), Jack McGrath(2019), John Thoma(2016), Jack Snyder(2015), and Anders Overhaug(2011).
Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Wes Gallant of Old Orchard Beach. During the Seagulls 60-54 win against Lake Region, Wes ran 35 times for 470 yards and 7 touchdowns, he scored 2 two-point conversions, and on defense he had 5 tackles. This is the second time this season he has been selected and he joins other alumni such as Trot Moody(2025), Brady Plante(2024), Jacob Payea(2019 & 2021), Jaden Davies(2019), Eric Hogan(2015), Bryan Roberts(2013 & 2014), and Jason Dutton(2010).

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 5
We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 5 of 2025.
Our Class A selection is Mark Lapointe of Noble. During the Knights 35-27 win over Marshwood, Mark completed 10 of 13 passes for 177 yards and 3 touchdowns with 18 carries for 95 yards and a touchdown. He joins other alumni such as Jamier Rose(2023 & 2024) and Anthony Prak(2021).
Our Class B selection is Tatum Doucette of Messalonskee. During the Eagles 35-32 win against Brunswick, Tatum completed 11 of 16 passes for 172 yards with 3 touchdowns and an interception while rushing 19 times for 255 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. This is the fifth time Tatum has been selected as he was picked once in 2022, once in 2023, and twice in 2024. He is the tenth person to be selected five times in the history of our award program. He joins other alumni such as Austin Pelletier(2016 & 2017), Jack Bernatchez(2014 & 2015), Jake Dexter(2013), Sam Dexter(2011), Justin Tinsman(2010), and Keenan Knox(2010).
Our Class C selection is Seth Bowden of Nokomis. During the Warriors 43-36 win over Oceanside in Rockland, Seth ran 26 times for 260 yards and 4 touchdowns with a fumble recovery. This is the second time this season he has been selected and he joins other alumni such as Noah Kershner(2012 & 2013 & 2014), Chandler Foss(2012), and Austin Chipman(2011).
Our Class D selection is Jake Feith of Winthrop/Monmouth/Hall-Dale. During the Ramblers 35-8 win over Morse, Jake completed 12 of 19 passes for 151 yards and 4 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Cody Cobb(2024), Carter Rivers(2023), Robby Feeney(2022), Dominic Trott(2021 & 2022), Logan Baird(2021), Keegan Choate(2017 & 2019), Nate Scott(2016), Alec Brown(2015), and Jared Hanson(2011).
Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Ignatius McGrath of Yarmouth. During the Clippers 50-18 win against Gray-New Gloucester, "Iggy" completed 18 of 22 passes for 240 yards and 6 touchdowns while rushing 3 times for 6 yards. This is the second time this season he has been selected and he joins other alumni such as Michael McGonagle(2022 & 2023), Jack McGrath(2019), John Thoma(2016), Jack Snyder(2015), and Anders Overhaug(2011).
Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Trot Moody of Old Orchard Beach. During the Seagulls 64-14 win at Hiram against Sacopee Valley, Trot completed 6 of 9 passes for 189 yards and 3 touchdowns, he ran 5 times for 118 yards and 2 touchdowns, he scored 3 two-point conversions, and he intercepted a pass on defense. He joins other alumni such as Wes Gallant(2025), Brady Plante(2024), Jacob Payea(2019 & 2021), Jaden Davies(2019), Eric Hogan(2015), Bryan Roberts(2013 & 2014), and Jason Dutton(2010).

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 4
We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 4 of 2025.
Our Class A selection is Connor Ayoob of Thornton Academy. During the Golden Trojans 34-13 win against South Portland, Connor ran 20 times for 240 yards and scored 3 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Mauricio Sunderland(2024), Wyatt Benoit(2024), Jack Emerson(2021), Kobe Gaudette(2019), Isaac Ofielu(2018), C.J. LaBreck(2017), Will Mitchell(2017), Michael Laverriere(2014 & 2016), Austin McCrum(2015), Eric Christensen(2012), Steve Trask(2009), and Zach Sheehan(2009).
Our Class B selection is Parker Morin of Cony. During the Rams 39-34 win over Oxford Hills, Parker completed 16 of 28 passes for 253 yards and 3 touchdowns with 1 interception while running 4 times for 19 yards and 2 touchdowns. Parker was also selected twice in 2023 and joins other alumni such as Dom Napolitano(2022), James Presti(2021), Riley Geyer(2018 & 2019), Jordan Roddy(2016), Taylor Heath(2015), Mitchell Caron(2014), Ben Lucas(2011 & 2012 & 2013), Chandler Shostak(2012), and Luke Duncklee(2010).
Our Class C selection is Sam Hopkins of Hermon. During the Hawks 35-0 win against Hampden Academy, Sam ran 7 times for 163 yards and 3 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Gary Glidden(2022), Garrett Trask(2018), David Shephardson(2012), and Kyle Hornyak(2012).
Our Class D selection is Kooper McCarthy of Mattanawcook Academy. During the Lynx's 50-40 win at Belfast, Kooper ran 27 times for 295 yards and 5 touchdowns while making 3 sacks on defense. He joins other alumni such as Isaac Hainer(2021 & 2022), Brayden Lujan(2019), Alex Brown(2018), Matthew Young(2017), Scott Jipson(2015), and Trysten Pelkey(2011 & 2012 & 2013).
Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Ripley Strout of Ellsworth. During the Eagles 40-36 win against Waterville, Ripley ran 12 times for 294 yards and 4 touchdowns while making 11 tackles on defense. Ripley was also selected in 2024 and joins other alumni such as Connor Crawford(2017 & 2019) and Devin Wright(2015).
Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Maxwell Tripp of Sacopee Valley. During the Hawks 60-42 loss at Cape Elizabeth, Maxwell ran 24 times for 299 yards and 6 touchdowns and a two-point conversion while on defense he had 9 tackles and a sack. He joins other alumni such as Dylan Capano(2023), Tyler Easterbrooks(2023 & 2024), and Austin Croteau(2021).

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 3
We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 3 of 2025.
Our Class A selection is Cordell Jones of Portland. During the Bulldogs 34-0 win over Deering, Cordell completed 7 of 11 passes for 125 yards and a touchdown while running 25 times for 153 yards and 3 touchdowns. Cordell was also selected in 2023 and joins other alumni such as Louis Thurston(2024), Aidan McGowan(2023), Brandon Boyle(2021), Zack Elowitch(2018), Terion Moss(2017), Issiah Bachelder(2015 & 2016), Joe Esposito(2015), Jordan Talbot(2013), and Imadhi Zagon(2009 & 2010).
Our Class B selection is Giovanni Staples of Westbrook. During the Blue Blazes 55-21 victory against Biddeford, Giovanni completed 9 of 10 passes for 194 yards and 4 touchdowns, he ran 4 times for 44 yards and a touchdown, and on defense he had 3 tackles. Giovanni was also selected in 2023 and joins other alumni such as Nemieceo Loureiro(2016), Bailey Sawyer(2016), Maurice Johnson(2014), Collin Joyce(2013), Cale Bollig(2012), Kyle Heath(2012), Manny Vincent(2010), and Matt Payne(2009).
Our Class C selection is Seth Bowden of Nokomis. During the Warriors 28-8 win at Brewer, Seth ran 16 times for 239 yards and 3 touchdowns while intercepting a pass on defense. He joins other alumni such as Noah Kershner(2012 & 2013 & 2014), Chandler Foss(2012), and Austin Chipman(2011).
Our Class D selection is Damon Martin of Poland. During the Knights 34-15 win at Rumford against Mountain Valley, Damon completed 6 of 12 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown while rushing 16 times for 103 yards and 3 touchdowns. Damon was also selected in 2024 and joins other alumni such as Isaac Ramsdell(2023) and Brady Martin(2022).
Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Dylan Jewett of Spruce Mountain. During the Phoenix's 52-38 loss to Yarmouth, Dylan completed 8 of 13 passes for 122 yards and a touchdown, he ran 16 times for 117 yards and 3 touchdowns, he scored a two-point conversion, and on defense he had 9 tackles. He joins other alumni such as Reece Davis(2022), Brandon Frey(2019), Matt Vigue(2013 & 2014), Peter Theriault(2013), and Bill Calden(2011).
Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Kason Bagley of Orono. During the Red Riots 50-44 victory against Houlton, Kason completed 14 of 23 passes for 352 yards and 5 touchdowns, he ran 7 times for 39 yards and a touchdown, and he helped score 3 two-point conversions. He joins other alumni such as Jack Brewer(2022 & 2023 & 2024), Will Francis(2023 & 2024), Jackson Coutts(2016), Christian Mowrer(2011 & 2012), Norton Revelle(2012), Cameron Mowrer(2011), Bryce Mehnert(2011), and Dominic Mowrer(2010 & 2011).

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 2
We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 2 of 2025.
Our Class A selection is Joey Foley of Deering. During the Rams 54-31 win against Edward Little, Joey ran for 227 yards and scored four touchdowns while also making 12 tackles on defense. Joey was also selected in 2023 and joins other alumni such as Tavian Lauture(2024), Nate Richards(2016), Max Chabot(2014), Kenny Sweet(2012), and Jamie Ross(2009 & 2010).
Our Class B selection is Austin West of Kennebunk. During the Rams 28-0 victory over Scarborough, Austin ran 22 times for 203 yards and scored 3 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Jonah Barstow(2023), Matt Moore(2021), David York(2021), and Matt Dube(2010).
Our Class C selection is Evan Seavey of Foxcroft Academy. During the Ponies 39-8 win at Oceanside, Evan completed 13 of 15 passes for 200 yards and a touchdown while rushing 6 times for 50 yards and two touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Jadon Richard(2023), Gage Beaudry(2023), Wyatt Rayfield(2022 & 2023), Caden Crocker(2022), Jadon Richard(2022), Jesse Drury(2021), Austin Seavey(2021), Nick Clawson(2017), Peter Boyer(2013 & 2014), and Ryan Stroud(2009).
Our Class D selection for a second consecutive week is Hudson Lufkin of Dirigo. During the Cougars 39-14 win at Poland, Hudson completed 11 of 17 passes for 133 yards, he threw 5 touchdowns along with 2 interceptions, he ran 20 times for 250 yards and a touchdown, and on defense he had 11 tackles, 4 sacks, and intercepted a pass. He joins other alumni such as Charlie Houghton(2021), Cooper Chiasson(2016), Spencer Trenoweth(2012), Brett Whittemore(2012), Bryan Blackman(2011), and Nic Crutchfield(2009).
Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Ignatius McGrath of Yarmouth. During the Clippers 64-38 victory over Cape Elizabeth, Ignatius completed 20 of 29 passes for 453 yards and 6 touchdowns, he ran for a 17-yard touchdown, and he scored 3 two-point conversions. "Iggy" was also selected in 2024 and joins other alumni such as Michael McGonagle(2022 & 2023), Jack McGrath(2019), John Thoma(2016), Jack Snyder(2015), and Anders Overhaug(2011).
Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Lucas Pelkey of Stearns. During the Minutemen's 60-22 win at Orono, Lucas ran 10 times for 161 yards and 4 touchdowns, he caught a 22-yard touchdown pass, and on defense he had 10 tackles, 3 tackles for losses, and intercepted a pass. He joins other alumni such as Cameron Atkinson(2024), Caden Raymond(2023), Caleb Shearer(2022 & 2023), Elliott Shearer(2019), Riley Whitney(2012), and Jared McGreevy(2009 & 2010).

During the Scots 48-6 win at South Portland, Colin completed 7 of 15 passes for 172 yards and 3 touchdowns and an interception while running 8 times for 55 yards. He also received a selection in 2024 and joins other alumni such as Connor Johnson(2024), Terrell Edwards(2023), Cade Dixon(2022), Cam Marcello(2022), Zac Oja(2021), Zach Maturo(2019), Keegan Meredith(2019), Will Whyte(2018), Connor Sirois(2017), Cam Day(2016), Alex Sprague(2016), Zach Brannon(2015), Matt Smith(2014), Zach Dubiel(2013), Tyson Goodale(2011 & 2012), Matt Rollins(2010), and Ryan Nason(2009).
Our Class B selection is Colton Jewett of Cheverus. During the Stags 35-0 win at Gorham, Colton completed both his passes for 31 yards while running 12 times for 228 yards and 4 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Joe Fitzpatrick(2013 & 2014), Donald Goodrich(2012), Brent Green(2011), and Spencer Cooke(2011).
Our Class C selection is Luke Piper of Greely. During the Rangers 42-0 victory over York, Luke completed 7 of 8 passes for 150 yards and 3 touchdowns while running for 78 yards and a touchdown in a half of football. He joins other alumni such as Andrew Padgett(2023 & 2024), Matt Pisini(2013 & 2014), Drew Hodge(2012), and Michael Leeman(2010).
Our Class D selection is Hudson Lufkin of Dirigo. During the Cougars 46-18 victory at Lisbon, Hudson threw for 157 yards and 3 touchdowns, he ran for 195 yards and 3 touchdowns, he scored a two-point conversion, and on defense he had 8 tackles and a fumble recovery. He joins other alumni such as Charlie Houghton(2021), Cooper Chiasson(2016), Spencer Trenoweth(2012), Brett Whittemore(2012), Bryan Blackman(2011), and Nic Crutchfield(2009).

During the Windjammers 50-32 win at Waterville, Hollis completed 9 of 11 passes for 242 yards and 3 touchdowns while running 6 times for 66 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was also selected in 2024 and joins other alumni such as Hunter Norton(2019 & 2021), Collin Downs(2010), and Jake Powers(2010).

The Maine Super Six Stars of the Week is a weekly recognition which selects the top performing student-athletes from each of the six football classes across the state of Maine.
The selection process consists of using media articles and box score recaps to select the top six individual performances of the week. Only accredited and authorized media sources, or feedback submitted by team/school coaches or administrators, are used in the selection process. Nominees are announced every week of the season up to the tenth week of the season. Our selections will be announced every Tuesday.
