Top returnee: Schroeder. “She’s stepped up so much as a leader,” Corcoran said. “Being a four-year varsity starter and a captain in both volleyball and softball has really developed her into someone who leads by example, and that’s without even going into her physical play. She’s the total package.”

Outlook: “We lost Jessica Wood and Ashley John, and they’d worked together for three years straight and given us positions we didn’t even have to think about,” Corcoran said. “We’re working on a different chemistry now, but once we get it clicking, I think we should be very competitive.”

The BCT says: The Greyhounds look like the best of the rest. Prediction: Second.
