September 2016 Meeting Minutes

 

 Wickliffe Baseball League Meeting - 9/15/2016

Start time 7:05pm

Roll Call:

Executive Board – Pugh, Novotney, Levon,  Pasquino

Excused – Bunn, Krizner, Johnson

Trustees - Rossman, Shirer

Excused – Bala

Officer Reports:

VP – No report

Treasurer– Novotney announced the income/expense report for September 2016, which is stated below. 

1)      Checking account balance - $7,834.18

2)      Savings account balance - $1,616.74

3)      Cooperstown 2017  (11U) - $8,750.49

4)      Other Savings / Clinics - $840.27

5)      Nationals 2016 (14U) - $1,511.21

6)      Ripken 2016 (12U) - $234.57

 

Secretary – The 2016 pictures/plaques for the sponsors have been picked from the photographer.  We need to start working on the calendar of events for 2017. 

 

Equipment Manager – No report

 

Umpire in Chief – No report

 

Player Development Manager – No report

President –  We have been contacted by Earn-It Sports about using their facility for winter clinics again.  We need to figure out if that is the route we are going to take or If there is a different facility we would like to use.

Old Business

Elections – The following people received the majority of the votes for their respective position:

·         Vice President – Jen Gilman

·         Treasurer – Kathy Novotney

·         Player Development – Phil Motta

·         Trustee – Keith Brandt

 

Pasquino – Any grants we apply for need 3 years of financial data.  The three that we are currently contemplating are from the Captains, Finish Line and Cooperstown.

 

New Business: 

Any kids wanting to umpire can contact Tony Pasquino.
