Season 4 AL Elimination Series GAME PREVIEW: Astros vs. White Sox

We will see a rematch of the teams from Opening Day in Season 3 in the first ever AL Elimination Series game!

Astros

The Astros have only one game under their belt so it's hard to say what we may see from them in this game. But that one game came against their upcoming opponents when they were shutout by Ryan Cross and the White Sox. There is excitement around this franchise but also some mystery, as with any expansion team.

White Sox

They had a great run in the postseason in Season 3, one win from seeing their first World Series appearance. Weeks prior to the start of Season 4, Evan Cross officially joined the organization after carrying the team in the postseason in Season 3 and finished 2nd in Postseason MVP rankings. Before Evan joined the Sox, the team was already successful. The team went 4-2 in Season 2 behind AL MVP Ryan Cross. With Evan now part of the team moving forward, they feel like a World Series title is within grasp. Historically, the team has been one of the better pitching franchises in the league. The same goes to their offense which makes them one dangerous team to face. The Astros will be the underdog in this game but the White Sox experience should be key for them if they win.
