Lincoln County Varsity Lions got on the board in the top of the first inning after Columbia Falls Varsity Wildcats committed an error, and Columbia Falls Varsity Wildcats dropped a third strike, each scoring one run.

Lincoln County Varsity Lions added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Van Orden was struck by a pitch, and Chapman grounded into a fielder's choice, each scoring one run.

Columbia Falls Varsity Wildcats took the lead, 6-5, in the bottom of the fifth thanks to singles by Cadwell, and Victor.

In the top of the sixth inning, Lincoln County Varsity Lions went back into the lead after Van Orden singled down the right field line, and Chapman grounded out, each scoring one run.

Victor singled down the right field line, which helped Columbia Falls Varsity Wildcats tie the game at seven in the bottom of the seventh.

Chapman earned the win for Lincoln County Varsity Lions. The hurler gave up two hits and one run (zero earned) over three and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking three. Dunn took the loss for Columbia Falls Varsity Wildcats. The lefty went four innings, allowing five runs (three earned) on four hits, striking out eight and walking two. Pitts led things off on the bump for Columbia Falls Varsity Wildcats. The righty allowed two hits and four runs (two earned) over four innings, striking out five and walking three. Burow started on the hill for Lincoln County Varsity Lions. The starter gave up seven hits and six runs (five earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out six and walking three.

Columbia Falls Varsity Wildcats tallied nine hits in the game. Victor led Columbia Falls Varsity Wildcats with four runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The right fielder went 3-for-3 on the day. Cadwell collected two hits for Columbia Falls Varsity Wildcats in four at bats. Dodson led Columbia Falls Varsity Wildcats with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, piling up six walks for the game. Columbia Falls Varsity Wildcats turned one double play in the game.

Van Orden, Burow, and Lytle each drove in two runs for Lincoln County Varsity Lions. Chapman stole two bases. Lincoln County Varsity Lions ran wild on the base paths, amassing six stolen bases for the game. Lincoln County Varsity Lions turned one double play in the game.
