About the USPL

The Unionville Slo-Pitch League (USPL), founded in 1974, is a vibrant community dedicated to men's softball, accommodating players of all skill levels. The league is structured into three distinct divisions to cater to the diverse interests of its members:

1. **Open Division**: This is the most competitive tier, featuring 16 teams that engage in a promotion and relegation system based on performance. Open to players aged 21 and older, this division attracts individuals with a strong passion and talent for the game.

2. **35+ Division**: Specifically designed for players aged 35 and above, this division fosters a competitive environment among peers. It comprises six teams that showcase determination and sportsmanship.

3. **Master's Division**: Aimed at players aged 50 and older, this division offers a more laid-back approach to the game. With six teams, the Master's Division emphasizes enjoyment and community connection.

The 2026 USPL season will kick off on Monday, May 11th, marking 52 years of tradition in slo-pitch softball. Teams will engage in 25 to 28 regular-season games from May through September, leading up to an exciting playoff series. The Championship Weekend, scheduled for September 25-27, will include festivities such as food, music, and various activities.

The USPL is not just a league for sports; it embodies unity, friendship, and community spirit. The relationships formed on the field often extend beyond the game, making the league a treasured part of many people's lives. New players and teams are warmly invited to join this dynamic community and become part of the USPL family.
