Gary"Da General" Nelson Jr was honored as "the Coach of the Year" with other Nutmeg State Game Award winners Richard Castiglione,Raymond Douuquette,Christina Hughes,State Senator John Ashcroft,Pam Hinkle,Valerie Sorrentino,James Amoroso and (Guest Speaker)UCONN Women's Head Coach Geno Auriemma at the Nutmeg State Games Banquet 2006 which had an attendance of 500 guests at the Aqua Surf Club in Southington,CT.
