16th Annual "For the Love of the Game" is a Brennan/Rogers School ,JrNBA and Da FAM Club collaborative Basketball league/Tournament, which games will be played Monday thru Sunday's June 16 July 31,2016 at Brennan/Rogers School 200 wilmot rd,New Haven,CT...The league is Open for Teams or Individual registered Players (Boys & Girls)..The Cost for Teams is $750 and for Individual registered Players($75)..Each player that registers as a "Individual" will Receive a JrNBA Replica Reversible League Jersey Top and a Team Short which must be worn at every Game..The League will have our Volunteers and support from other Volunteers from across Connecticut.Brennan/Rogers School,New Haven Public Schools,JrNBA & Da FAM Club are a part of the several community agencies that have come together in this collaborative effort.We are Happy with th community support it has been overwhelming and continues to grow. The Objective of the League is to provide an opportunity for the youth of our state to be conditioned,taught fundamental skills and sportsmanship while gaining game-time experience.In addition to this it will provide a forum to showcase their skills and talents.Invited guests will be addressing the youth before some schedule games.The League has developed rules and regulations to govern the code of conduct on and off the court as well as participation in the league.The individual youth Players can come in for evaluation/workouts )...The league games will run Monday thru Friday(5:45pm-9pm) & Saturday/Sunday(10am-8pm) each Player or Team will Receive 9 League Games plus a Playoff Games. The Divisions are Developmental(Coed\Training)...Boys 5th/6th grade & 7th/8th grade,High School (Jv) and High School Varsity/Prep...Our Girls division 4th-8th grade or 8th grade-High Schooligh School division.. We are looking for 6-10 teams per Age Group so space will be Limited.
