CAPITAL DISTRICT OVER 50 SOFTBALL LEAGUE

The Capital District Over 50 Softball League, established in 2008, seeks to provide a social and recreational venue for male and female softball players who are 50 years of age or older.  We strive to promote the physical and recreational welfare of our members by providing an appropriate level of friendly, yet competitive, softball games that are played with special rules aimed at avoiding injury, ensuring full participation, and fostering a  spirit of friendliness, good sportsmanship, and camaraderie.

The season typically runs from mid-April through the end of August.  Games are typically played on Saturday and Sunday mornings (9:30 and 11:00am starts) at Albany, NY area fields.

The Capital District Over 50 Softball League is a 501(c)(7) organization.  Questions can posted to the message board or be directed to Mike C. at over50softball@verizon.net
