The Metz started the new season with a win yesterday over the Rangers by the score of 5-3 .  Manny Costales started the game and went 7 strong innings giving up only 2 earned runs.  Leo Artigas pitched a scoreless 8th to set up the 9th for the New Closer Andrew Smiley who struck out all three batters to pick up the save.  The offense was led by PC Cabrera, Manny Costales, Luis Martinez and Doug Robinson each collecting two hits.
