FALL BALL
Please come join us for open practices geared towards girls ages 8-10. Our focus is to teach the basics of softball while helping the girls grow their love of the game. Skill building around hitting, infield, outfield, sliding, diving, base running, and situational plan will be addressed throughout practices. Practices will begin in September and run through the end of November. We will plan to practice outside at the Victor campus fields from September through mid-October and continue to practice indoors from mid-October through the end of November. Practices will be on hold for the holiday season from December through New Years. There will likely be a tryout closer to the end of the winter practice and then in the spring. Please know we understand and encourage the involvement in other sports and activities. Be sure to reach out if you have questions or concerns regarding your child's ability to attend practices and/or tryouts as dates/times are formally set.
The program will consist of weekly practices and scrimmages (approximately 10 to 11 depending on weather and indoor space availability). Players can attend as many or as few as fits their schedule. The cost for the program is $30, covering all sessions.
Our goal is to start cultivating interest and skill in preparation for a competitive Spring/Summer season of travel and league play.
The Vipers 10U teams will get the chance to play in weekly league night games as well as 3-4 tournaments/game days during summer months.
