11th Annual Spring Players Clinic

Managed by Westlake Varsity Baseball Coach J.T. Blair

Saturday, February 17, 2018

What:

Western Hills Little League, in cooperation with Westlake’s varsity head coach J.T.Blair, and the Westlake baseball coaching staff, announces the Spring Baseball Player Clinic.

The player’s clinic will involve the teaching of skills and age specific drills necessary to becoming a better ball player. Westlake varsity baseball players and their parents, will be in charge of skill stations where the basics of throwing, hitting, fielding, and running will be explained, and demonstrated. The camp participants will then be put through age appropriate drills, to reinforce the proper techniques, as they rotate through multiple stations.

Coach Blair will also be available to discuss baseball related topics such as proper equipment for young players, what you can do as a parent to help your player, and “select” baseball, for example.

Players should bring their helmet, glove and bat (we’ll have some limited equipment they can use if they are missing anything).
