FYI: The NABA has just established a new partnership with a company called "Athalonz". Athalonz is a cleat and turf shoe company that has developed a new technology that reduces stress on your joints, hips, and back! Athalonz is now the official shoe company of the NABA, and, as an NABA member, you will receive a 10% discount on your entire purchase. Just use the discount code "NABA". Here is the website for Athalonz if you're interested.
LEAGUE UPDATE (7/20/2020):
Hopefully your manager has been keeping you informed as to the state of the league, or you’ve been looking at the FB page or the league website for updates. The recent setbacks and stricter mandates by the County of Los Angeles have put us in an even more unpredictable situation than before, and our field and school allies have no time table for a return. There are no positive answers as to when we will be allowed to use facilities again, and I know many of you have expressed concerns with health issues and/or finances. So, with heavy heart, it is now best for us to pull the plug on our 2020 season. There will also be no fall/winter league, but hopefully the fields will open up for a return in March of 2021 for our next season. I wanted to thank all of you for your patience in these tough times, and although we all want to play baseball, it’s just not in the cards for the remainder of this season.
Your manager should be getting a large portion of your team’s league fee refunded to them within the next couple of weeks, which they would distribute accordingly. And, please continue your patience in regards to your manager refunding any portion of league fees that you may have paid. The following has been on the league Facebook page and league website for some time now, but a quick reminder to reinforce previous updates in regards to league fees …. players pay any and all fees to their team manager. The manager collects from his players and then pays the league. Conversely, in regards to any possible refunds, the league pays the team manager, and then the team manager deals with the players directly. The league does not (EVER) deal directly with the players in regards to payments and/or refunds. Bottom-line … make sure that you have a relationship with your team manager and know his rules and regulations in regards to payments and refunds. These specs on league fees, manager/player interactions are not Covid specific; they are for each and every year.
Please stay safe, sane and healthy and let’s hope we can get back on the field for the 2021 season. Should you have any questions, comments, suggestions or concerns, please email me.

A few rules that all (including umpires) need to know ..
No sunflower seeds at any fields, even in the dugouts!
No dogs by players or their fans at any fields. No smoking of any substances at any fields. No alcohol or drugs ... ever! Clean the dugout before and after your game. Park at your own risk at fields and be aware of foul balls.
