The Jaguar Elite Baseball program is back for the 2019 season and is excited about building player talent for our Spain Park community. Each year this competitive program strives to improve and welcomes players to try out for a number of different age/grade level teams. Our website provides details about how to register for tryouts, the exact dates, times and locations. We hope to see you there!
This year the program will hold tryouts and select some number of players to augment Jaguar Elite Travel Teams in grades 5, 6, 7 and 8. In addition to having a true desire to play high school baseball, eligible players must be currently zoned to a school that feeds into Spain Park High School or express interest in becoming a part of the Spain Park community. Team rosters will be limited to 11-13 players and structured to compete in 9 to 11 USSSA tournaments per year. Players and coaches will be trained on the routines, mechanics, and expectations required of a future Spain Park High School Baseball player. Season fees are on average $1,200 per player making a team. If your interested in participating in a program that provides a continuous player development path and is influenced by those who have a vested interest in the success of the high school team and its future players we encourage you to pre-register and attend tryouts. NOTE: This year we are encouraging 3rd & 4th graders who wish to play baseball, to register through the Hoover East website. If we have 3rd or 4th grade players who wish to learn more about the direction we are taking or want to discuss forming a younger team please email firstname.lastname@example.org
