Welcome to the North Winnipeg Minor Baseball Association Website.

This site is meant to be a central information source for the NWMBA, so please check back often. If you have any information you would like to see on the website, feel free to email me your suggestions, and I will look into getting it on.

If you are in West St Paul, or St Andrews, you can find their links on the registration sheet.  These are the only two areas outside the city of Wpg, and are not on the above website page.


NWMBA AGM Meeting Announcement

Date:  Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 6:30 PM

Location:   Red River CC. at293 Murray Avenue, Winnipeg

 

THE FOLLOWING BOARD POSITIONS
ARE UP FOR ELECTION/APPOINTMENT AT THE 2017 AGM:
 

 
1. 1ST VICE PRESIDENT (AAA), (Two-year Term);
“The 1ST Vice President shall:
a. In the absence of the President or in the event of their inability to act, shall have and exercise all authorities of the President.
b. Accept other duties as may be required by the Executive Committee:
c. Be responsible to the Board for operating the AAA program as per the AAA terms of reference, i.e. assist with the selection of coaches and their certification; set annual AAA player registration, assist with winter camps and tryouts.” 
 
2. TREASURER (Two-Year Term);
“The Treasurer shall:
a. Shall administer all funds of the Association through a recognized chartered bank or trust company;
b. Report at Regular Meetings of the Executive Committee, and the Board of Directors all account balances;
c. Carry signing authority with the President, Vice Presidents or Secretary for the payment of accounts;
d. Report all routine Accounts Payable at each meeting of the Board of Directors and report Special Accounts Payable to the Board of Directors for approval prior to payment;
e. Accept other duties as may be required by the Executive Committee.
f. Provide a copy of criminal record check upon request.”
 
3. SECRETARY (Two-Year Term);
“The Secretary shall:
a. Be responsible for recording and distributing Minutes of all meetings of Executive Committee and the Board of Directors;
b. Maintain records of all Association Correspondence, the Constitution, By-laws, League Reports and Committee reports;
c. Revise the Constitution and By-laws when approved by the Executive Committee and the Board;
d. Notify the Executive Committee, the Board, and League Conveners of meetings when called;
e. Prepare Agenda for the AGM, and other meetings; and
f. Accept other duties as may be required by the Executive Committee.”

4. REGISTRAR (Two-Year Term);

"The Registrar shall:

a. Receive the team and players registration, complete with approved documentation and fees;
b. Convene a meeting prior to the start of each season with Coaches, Managers of all teams and the League Conveners to review registration  requirements and league regulations. At this meeting, kits of registration forms and games sheets shall normally be distributed;
c.  Be responsible for forwarding all documentation to the NWMBA Treasurer, and the MBA as required."
