Welcome to the North Winnipeg Minor Baseball Association Website.

This site is meant to be a central information source for the NWMBA, so please check back often. If you have any information you would like to see on the website, feel free to email me your suggestions, and I will look into getting it on.

Click on the About menu above, then contact info.  The contact button will allow you to email the administrator of this site to forward comments/suggestions/information.

If you are new to the area, firstly, welcome to North Winnipeg.  The next thing you will need to know is which community centre you will belong to.  You may find that information on the city of Winnipeg page

The rest of the information you may need will be on this website.  If you need assistance, feel free to email the administrator, instructions above, and you will be looked after.

If you are in West St Paul, or St Andrews, you can find their links on the registration sheet.  These are the only two areas outside the city of Wpg, and are not on the above website page.

Earlier this month one of our AAA Midget players, Nolan Raven, was diagnosed with aplastic anaemia. This is a rare disease in which the bone marrow and the hematopoietic stem cells that reside there are damaged. This causes a deficiency of all three blood cell types: red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Luckily, Nolan’s younger brother is a match and both boys will undergo surgery so Nolan can have a stem cell transplant to boost his body’s ability to make blood cells.

As a baseball community we’re cheering for Nolan and his family and praying for a speedy recovery. To show our support we’ve designed silicone bracelets to sell. All profits raised will go directly to Nolan. Each bracelet is $5.

The North Winnipeg Minor Baseball Association and the 2018 Provincial hosting committee is calling out to all North Winnipeg Baseball families, and players past/present to help us in hosting the 13U Provincial Championships by volunteering your time.

The 13U AAA Provincials Aug 3 - 5, 2018 will be held at the Sunova Center diamonds at the North Perimeter location. It will be a great weekend of the top 10 teams from across the province battling it out for supremacy and a chance to attend the 13U AAA Western Canada Nationals Championships later in August.

We are looking to fill positions in many areas from Official Pitch counting to score keeping to grounds crew, etc, etc. You get the idea.  If you're able to help out in any way, I encourage you to contact Paul Olfert (Chairperson and Host) at:

Volunteering your time can lead to free admission!

So if you're able to help out or just looking to see some great youth baseball, come out to the Sunova diamonds on the Aug long weekend.  Please share this with anyone you think might be interested

Volunteers are desperately needed to make this event a success!
