Welcome to the New Players

Welcome to the Rocket Tennis Team. I am looking forward to a fun season.


The Ross Doubles, NBC, and Sectional are varsity only matches. 


Upcoming Matches

I will try to give kids/parents the heads-up on numbers for the upcoming teams and the chances of JV players getting to play. The way it works, is that varsity plays first. JV matches go on after the varsity matches. JV might play more than once or maybe not at all if the other team has less players than we do. I will do my best to get everyone in the matches, but sometimes JV matches will be against teammates.


Coaches

The 2024 coaches will be Rick LaFountain, Greg LaFountain, and Jacqueline LaFountain.


Conditioning continues this week.

Conditioning continues this week. All players must have current physicals and all final forms submitted before participating in practice on March 4th. Players are reminded to dress warm. This includes hats and light gloves if it is really chilly. Better to have too many layers than too few.


First day of Official Practice

For practices, always have extra layers of clothes. Some days it will be cold. It is ok to wear hats, sweats, jackets, and light gloves. It is much better to have too many layers of clothes to too few. Bring racquets and water. See the "my tennis bag" icon for tips on what to bring during matches. Physicals and final forms must be submitted to practice.

We will practice this season until the last match has been completed.


Parent Meeting is Tues 3/5 after practice at 5:30.
