Appleton Little League's 2014 Opening Day for Saturday, May 3rd has been rescheduled. Due to a very late, wet, and cold Spring, as well as a bleak weather forecast and very poor field conditions, games and Opening Day plans originally scheduled for 5/3 are being postponed, mostly to next Saturday, May 10th. Please stay tuned to our web site, www.AppletonLittleLeague.org for details. Also, watch for communication from your Commissioners (ex: info on individual/team pictures).
Locations and game times for most Opening Day will remain the same, simply moving from 5/3 to 5/10. This includes Major, Minor, and Rookie Baseball and Softball levels, with the only exception being Telulah Major and Minor Baseball. Telulah Baseball will be making up their 5/3 games throughout the season.
Previously-scheduled Major, Minor, and Rookie Baseball and Softball games for the week of May 5-9 will remain, weather permitting. T-Ball's "Opening Day" remains Saturday, 5/31, with games starting the week of 5/19.
