| Power Rankings October 28, 2016 7:08:43 PM Entry ID: 2079348 | 1. Stallions- This was by far the easiest choice as the Stallions have virtually looked untouchable this season!! The addition of Happy Feet may be enough to get these team to the promiseland. But just like every season, will Bobby choke? Or finally get over the hump? 2. Predators- This team is always this high late in the season. Year after year they are consistently a powerhouse team and look to make another championship run. We all know what that bald headed freak is capable of but just like Bobby, can Justin finally get this team over the hump? 3. Spartans- In my eyes I'd more consider the Predators and Spartans as 2A and 2B. I will never write off the defending champs no matter how many losses they have in the season. That defense plays physical and that offense can put up points. Wouldn't doubt they're in the finals again this year. 4. Caos- This merge of teams hasn't gone exactly as planned but we all know they are LOADED with talent. If they gel together and hit their peak this could be a very dangerous team. With Rat at QB, you can never count this team out. 5. Silverbacks- Finally getting it together after a terrible start. They don't have Swan, or Happy Feet and Moosh finally seems to be getting that offense together. This is a team that I doubt anybody will want to see in the playoffs. 6. Tigers- This team is still young and they have a few players that are decent but they don't have enough talent or experience yet to compete for a tittle. QB is decent, good arm but they're a few years off of a title run. 7. Rebels- Another case where merging 2 teams together hasn't gone as planned. Gavin has been better, but still seems to struggle with this team. They can be competitive but I don't see them making it out of round 1. 8. Henchmen- Henchmen is a team full of athletes that has gotten better this year. But they still need a quarterback. They have some talented players but without a QB they'll never be more than an average team in this league. 9. Bottom- This is a team full of veterans who can compete, but just can't get it done. The brothers at QB and WR do get it done, but they need to add young talent if they wanna be competitive. 10. Warriors- This team is just a waste. With all due respect to the players on this team they just are not good and should begin to really rebuild and recruit. MVP- Bobby (as of now) Sleeper team- Silverbacks Spartans 26 Stallions 19 in championship game. |
| Mid season report/ power rankings October 28, 2016 10:48:17 AM Entry ID: 2079344 | Now that we at the halfway point let's evaluate teams and who is a contender or pretender 1. Stallions- looking unbeatable so far but maybe should've saved that win vs Spartans for the playoffs they are the most talented team but let's see if they can overcome there collapses the past 2 playoffs or bobby chokes again come playoff time 2. Spartans- even with 2 losses I have a hard time putting these guys any lower then this based on chip pedigree alone I see them being there at the end of the season and they won't be an easy out come playoff time 3. Predators- again looking great this regular season even with big win over Spartans but much like bobby let's see if justin can actually get some big wins in the playoffs before believing in this team too much 4. Caos- looks like things haven't been as easy as these guys expected by merging they thought they'd run over teams easily but the road hasn't been too easy but with rat at the helm these guys should be around in the final 4 as usual with a chance to win the chip 5. Tigers- a good young core that likes to hype themselves and they talk like there the best team in the league but think they arent gonna end up being a real chip contender this season maybe next year or 2 6. Silverbacks- look to be shaking off some early season rust after losing nick to stallions and not having swan but this is as always a talented bunch lead by grady that I don't think anyone wants to play come playoff time they can definitely make a run as a low seed 7. Rebels- added gavin and other pieces from alliance but looks like he may be the problem here as he still can't stop turning the ball over and blaming receivers no matter what team he is on might be time to hit the market for a qb again in the offseason as they have a pretty talented group if they can ever get it together 8. Henchmen- much improved after dumping andy but they gotta teach the qb that he ain't gonna win many games in this league throwing long every play they have a talented group of skill players but these guys are also missing the most important qb position 9. Bottom- same story as usual with these guys they can compete with anyone every single week but aren't good enough come playoff time to make a serious run a beat a couple of good teams in a row 10-Warriors- if they haven't already it's probably time to just blow it up and start over and start looking around for guys that might be looking for new teams next season |

Bayless October 26, 2016 9:39:03 PM Entry ID: 2079326 | Predictions: Silverbacks/Henchmen- Silverbacks look to be finally getting back to normal and playing like the team we expected them to be. Henchmen have played tough this season but Silverbacks will just be too much for them. Moosh should have a big day. Silverbacks 33-20 Spartans/Warriors- IF the Warriors even show I don't think this game is close. Spartans have lost 2 in a row and the Warriors will just be in the way of a very angry Spartans team. Don't rule the champs out yet they'll bounce back this week easily. Spartans 36-6 Rebels/Stallions- Stallions seem to be without a doubt the best team in the league. High scoring offense, lockdown defense, great on special teams. This team has it all. Rebels have been an above average team again this season but above average won't get it done against the front runners this season. Stallions 34-13 Tigers/Caos(GOW)- This should be a good game and that's why it's GOW. Tigers have played very well this season, but so has Caos. Tigers have yet to make that statement win they've been crying for. Though I think it will be close, i think Caos has too much talent and experience for the Tigers. I think a late game interception seals it for Caos. Caos 24-19 Predators/Bottom- Predators got a big win against the Spartans last week. That bald headed freak is one of the best players in this league for the Predators who seem to be prime for another championship run. Bottom have looked better this season but Predators will be too much. Predators 28-12 |
