Tamaques Park 6
From the Garden State Parkway:
Garden State Parkway to Exit 135 (it’s exit 135 whether traveling north or south on the GSP). When exiting the GSP follow the signs to “Central Avenue, Westfield”. Go onto Central Avenue and make a left at the second light onto Terminal Road. Make a right at the first light onto Westfield Avenue. Cross over the railroad tracks (the road changes to Rahway Avenue) and make the first left onto Lamberts Mill Road. Just after you get onto Lamberts Mill Road it will curve to the right and the entrance to Tamaques Park will be just a bit further down on the right. Once you enter the park, follow the road and make almost a complete circle around the park. The field will be on the left just before you complete that circle and the parking lot is immediately after the field (if you come to the exit for the park you have gone too far).
From the New Jersey Turnpike (going south):
Take the NJ Turnpike to Exit 14 and then take Route 78 West to the Garden State Parkway and take the GSP to Exit 135. When exiting the GSP follow the signs to “Central Avenue, Westfield”. Go onto Central Avenue and make a left at the second light onto Terminal Road. Make a right at the first light onto Westfield Avenue. Cross over the railroad tracks (the road changes to Rahway Avenue) and make the first left onto Lamberts Mill Road. From Route 22 (going east):
Make a right turn onto Terrill Road (just after Sears) and follow for about 3 miles, at which point it turns into Raritan Road. Continue on Raritan Road until the end (1.5 miles) and make a right onto Lamberts Mill Road. The entrance to Tamaques Park will be immediately the left. Once you enter the park, follow the road and make almost a complete circle around the park. The field will be on the left just before you complete that circle and the parking lot is immediately after the field (if you come to the exit for the park you have gone too far).
From Diamond Hill Road:
Take Diamond Hill Road and cross over Bonnie Burn Road. You will pass Blue Star shopping center on your right. Follow the road as it bends around and then at the stop sign make a right (Park Avenue).
Park Avenue will turn into Martine Ave. Continue for 2.7 miles and make a left on Raritan Road. Continue on Raritan Road until the end (0.5 miles) and make a right onto Lamberts Mill Road. Once you enter the park, follow the road and make almost a complete circle around the park. The field will be on the left just before you complete that circle and the parking lot is immediately after the field (if you come to the exit for the park you have gone too far).
