2011 Lions/Telulah wins Majors state title

At South Milwaukee, Kassi Hein struck out four to pitch Lions/Telulah to the Majors state title in a four- inning, 12-1 victory over Lakeland on July 16. Hannah Kluball and Sydney Pfotenhauer each had two hits for Lions/Telulah, which finished with seven hits.
"Like I tell the girls, if you produce hard work you get good results," Lions/Telulah coach Jeff Pistone said. "It's just one of those things. The kids did a great job."
