Aston Valley Baseball League completed the Jerry Donovan Pavilion in 2013. The pavilion was built using funds from our fundraising team and private donations provided by friends of Jerry Donovan. Jerry was a coach in the league for many years and had two sons, Jerry and Nick, go through Aston Valley. Jerry was a coach on the 2005 10u World Series Team and helped that team capture 4 district and state titles and two Mid-Atlantic regional titles. Despite a handicap which made walking difficult, Jerry was always willing to help maintain our fields and coach our players. He was also a member of the American Legion, Post 926 and former airman in the United States Air Force.
Please stop down and see the great work the league did in building this pavilion to make our facilities that much nicer for our players and families.
A number of players that played for Jerry showed up for support as did the entire 2013 O'Hara Varsity Baseball Team.
