I have asked that we only have ONE game or double-header per week and then I will offer a practice once per week.  I am encouraging you to participate even if you are not able to make the games, so that you can participate in the practices and we can get more one on one time working with you.  We will solicit your travel ball schedules and offer split practices so that if some of you are free on Wed and some on Thur we can split it up.  

It will not be a lot of throwing or conditioning because we don't want to hurt you for your travel season.  The focus will be advanced skills, fundamentals.  I will go over with you in your end of season meeting what in particular we will want to work with you on.  

Currently the price is $75 a player.  I have asked to see if that can be reduced since I have asked for less games.  It does include a t-shirt with number, many of you have seen the black or green ones from the last couple of years.  The more players we have the less likely we will have to have players from other teams join us (i.e Meade).  

This is OPEN to all current Juniors, Sophomores, Freshman and any incoming 9th graders (current 8th graders). PLEASE if you know any, pass this information along to them.  

This will start sometime in June and run through the first week in August.  I do not need an answer now, but will be asking your interest at the end of season interview so wanted to give you a heads up.

We highly encourage you to play travel ball at the highest level you can.  That should always take precedence over the high school summer softball league.  

Lastly, we have scheduled an Arundel High School Summer Camp August 1-4th in the evening (open to ages 9 up to incoming 9th graders).  We will need players to volunteer and help with the camp, please mark on your calendars I will be asking for availability and interest.
