1. Minor League Division Update
a. Started with 27 kids on paper evaluated 30 by the end of the day yesterday
b. 3 teams of 10, would like to cap it at 12
c. would like to offer the kids the ability to practice every day

play 6 games in town and 6 games out of town. We don’t have to limit the games at 12

2. Regional Umpire/Rules Meeting
a. Rules Proposals (Minors)
9 defensive players, last year we used 10 but there were 15 players per team
No bunting allowed during coach pitch
Need to know continuous walk
Our rules have 2 straight steals per inning: Keep it at 2 and discuss at end of the year
Max 4 runs per inning except the last inning
No Dropped third strike rule for Minors
Mercy rule now called the run ahead rule 12/10/8 innings 3/4/5 Keep it but make sure it’s standardized.
b. Safety Equipment (Minors)
LL only has safety equipment requirements for the catchers: We need throat guards for masks.
LL doesn’t require face masks for batter’s helmets
LL doesn’t mandate masks for infielders
Recommend a facemask but it’s not required.
3. Extreme Update
a. 10u status quo have a list to evaluate

c. Haven’t heard anything about other age groups
d. May have to reach out to other towns

Need to have a discussion about getting back into all stars
It has to be open to everyone
There’s divisions for all ages

Will send some freshman over for opening day then they will come over after their game in East Hartford.
A day when EGSA could come up and watch the high school girls
We need a team for majors and juniors to play on opening day
Yard Goats update can raffle off a person to throw out the first pitch
