KENSICO LITTLE LEAGUE FALL 2024 BASEBALL/SOFTBALL REGISTRATION
As summer marches on, there's no better time to plan for MORE BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL than right now! Similar to summer, FALL leagues are very casual, but also competitive where we play teams from other towns. It's effectively a travel experience, but it's completely focused on development (e.g., there are no standings, playoffs, etc.).  It's a great opportunity for the kids and we highly encourage your consideration.

Programs offered for FALL 2024 (registration is based upon Little League Age)*
  • Baseball: AA (LL8 = Players who are 8 years old as of 8/31/24)
  • Baseball: AAA (LL9 or LL10 = Players who are 9 or 10 years old as of 8/31/24)
  • Baseball: MAJORS (LL11 or LL12 = Players who are 11 or 12 years old as of 8/31/24)
  • Softball: AA (LL8 = Players who were 8 years old as of 12/31/2023)
  • Softball: AAA (LL9 or LL10 = Players who were 9 or 10 years old as of 12/31/2023)
  • Softball: MAJORS (LL11 or LL12 = Players who were 11 or 12 years old as of 12/31/2023)
Cost [Baseball] - $225 if played Summer ball (as the Fall uniform will be same) or $250 if did not play summer ball
Cost [Softball] - $225 if played Spring or Summer ball (as the Fall uniform will be same) or $250 for new registrants

Season: September & October. No Playoffs. Fall is a "local-travel" schedule. There is typically 1 to 2 games per week for each team, as well as 1 practice per week. However, there are no set days for each, and final scheduling is up to the team Manager.

To register... Click on the FALL 2024 REGISTRATION tab in top right corner of this website!

Registration has a hard close of Friday 8/23/2024

*Notes
  • Kensico does not offer Tee Ball (LL4/LL5) or Mustangs/Coach Pitch (LL6/LL7) baseball in the Fall
  • "Playing Up" in the Fall:
    • Any current LL8 (AA) or LL10 (AAA) player who would otherwise be eligible, based upon Little League Age, to move up to the next higher division (AAA or Majors, respectively) in Spring '25 may request to "play up" in next higher division this Fall '24 rather than waiting until the Spring '25 season. To request to "play up" this Fall please: 1) Note the request on your registration form and 2) email KLLplayerReg@gmail.com advising of such. All requests must be received by email by 8/23/24 to be considered.
    • "Mustangs" move ups: Any player who is currently "Little League Age 7" (and who played Mustangs this past Spring '24 season) who wishes to "play up" for the first time (thus play in AA/KidPitch) this Fall may request to do so by emailing KLLplayerReg@gmail.com to advise. As we get closer to the registration deadline we will then assess the demand and see if we have the available resources (number of players, managers, coaches, etc.) to properly support any such LL7 requests.
  • Please note, KLL prioritizes ensuring sufficient resources are available (number of players, coaches, managers, etc.) to properly support and develop all players in their Little League Age assigned divisions before considering move-ups
  • As such, all "play up" requests are subject to the approval of the KLL Player Agent and President, in consultation with the relevant Division VPs.
  • All programs offered, or which may be offered, are subject to final registration numbers and availability of sufficient managers and coaches for each team.

Please Drive Slowly Down Kensico Avenue

Please make sure you drive slowly down Kensico Avenue (the road leading to Pat Henry Field) and in the parking lot.  The 30 seconds you save on the way in is not worth the risk you are putting our children in by speeding.  10 mph is more than fast enough. Please remind family and friends that this is an area that requires slow driving.

Reminder: All Parents Are Required to Sign and Adhere to Kensico Little Leagues Code of Conduct

Kensico Little League Code of Conduct

I hereby pledge to provide support, care, and encouragement for my child participating in Kensico Little League by following this parents’ code of ethics:

I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, and officials at every game, practice, or other Kensico Little League event.

I will place the emotional and physical wellbeing of my child ahead of a personal desire to win.

I will insist that my child plays in a safe and healthy environment.

I will require that my child’s coach be trained in the responsibilities of being a youth sports coach and that the coach upholds the Coaches Code of Ethics.

I will support coaches and officials working with my child, in order to encourage a positive and enjoyable experience for all.

I will demand a sports environment for my child that is free from drugs, tobacco, and alcohol, and will refrain from their use at all Kensico Little League events.

I will remember that the game is for youth – not for adults.

I will do my best to make Kensico Little League fun for my child. I will help my child enjoy the youth sports experience by doing whatever I can, such as being a respectful fan, assisting coaching, or providing transportation.

I will ask my child to treat players, coaches, fans, and officials with respect regardless of race, sex, creed, or ability.
