NWWC: Northwest Washington's Premier Wrestling Club
NWWC is a distinguished member of USA Wrestling and the premier Folkstyle, Freestyle, Greco-Roman and Beach wrestling club in Northwest Washington. Over the last decade, NWWC wrestlers have amassed 1302 State Championship Medals, 362 Individual State Titles, 131 USAW All-American Honors, 7 UWW All-American Honors, 10 Freestyle National Championships, 9 Greco-Roman National Championships, 5 Folkstyle National Titles, 2 Beach Wrestling National Titles, 1 Women's National Title, 1 National Triple Crown Award, 4 Pan-American Gold Medals and 3 Beach Wrestling World Medals. WSWA Prarie Open (WA)
Eight NWWC wrestlers traveled to Yelm, WA on Sunday, December 14th to compete at the WSWA Prarie Open. Over the course of the day, NWWC wrestled 26 matches and finished the tournament with ten wins, five wins by fall, three medals and Ziona Zorer of Shelton, age 4, won the U6, 38-pound division. 2025 WSWA Puget Sound Folkstyle Championships (WA)
Nine NWWC wrestlers traveled to Auburn, WA on Sunday, December 7th to compete among 236 athletes at the 2025 WSWA Puget Sound Folkstyle Championships. With impressive form, NWWC finished the tournament with 33 matches, 20 wins, six medals and three individual championships. Congratulations to all nine NWWC wrestlers.

Three NWWC wrestlers traveled to Buckley, WA on Friday, November 28th to compete at the 2025 Tough Guy wrestling tournament. Over the short day of competition, NWWC wrestled 9 matches. Nine NWWC wrestlers traveled to Spokane, WA over the weekend of November 21st to compete among the top youth wrestlers in the Pacific Northwest at the 2025 USAW Northwest Bigfoot Battle. Fifty-two NWWC wrestlers rolled out the red carpet on Saturday, November 1st to welcome all comers to the 5th annual Northwest Takedown Championships at Bremerton High School. Over the four hours of competition, NWWC wrestled 185 matches while earning 94 wins, 41 medals and 13 individual championships. Congratulations to all fifty-two NWWC wrestlers.

NWWC's William Moran of Gig Harbor, age 15, traveled to Las Vegas, NV over the weekend of October 18th to compete at the 2025 RMN Freakshow of wrestling. Lions Den Championships | Folkstyle (WA)
Seven NWWC wrestlers traveled to Tacoma, WA on Saturday, October 18th to compete at the Lions Den Championships | Folkstyle. Over the short day of competition, NWWC wrestled 28 matches and brought home 16 wins, ten wins by fall, four medals and Finn Devine of Bremerton, age 17, finished first in the Junior 164-lb bracket. 2025 California World Challenge (CA)
NWWC's William Moran of Gig Harbor, age 15, traveled to Fresno, CA over the weekend of October 11th to compete among 800 elite wrestlers from 195 clubs at the 2025 California World Challenge. Over the course of the tournament, Mr. Moran wrestled eight matches and finished with six wins, two wins by fall and the High School Freshman/Sophomore 150-lb championship. 2025 RMN Armageddon
Ten NWWC wrestlers traveled to Centralia, WA on Saturday, October 4th to kick off the 2025-26 Folkstyle wrestling season with some major competition at the inaugural RMN Armageddon Tournament. Over the course of the day, NWWC wrestled 45 matches and earned 24 wins, 11 medals and Colton Fernandez of Gig Harbor, age 11, finished first in the 12U 78-lb division. Congratulations to all ten NWWC wrestlers.
