Information:
Maricopa Little League has set two dates for our evaluations of all minors/majors baseball and softball players. The evaluation process gives managers and coaches an opportunity to see all the players prior to the draft. Once your player has checked in they will participate in three drills on the field, which will take 10 minutes per player on average, and they are free to leave once completed.
MANDATORY: Each player must attend at least one of the evaluation dates, they are not required to go to both. If for some reason your player is unable to attend please send an email to the Maricopa Little League President explaining the reason president@maricopalittleleague.com. All players are drafted and placed on teams.

RETURNING PLAYERS: Please note, if your player was in Majors in Spring 2018 and were on team Buchberger, Zamora, Cope or Miller they will return to that team and DO NOT require an evaluation. They will be returning players and remain on the same Majors teams from Spring 2018. If you elect to not return to the same team/manager you must send an email to president@maricopalittleleague.com before Saturday 1/19.

WHAT TO BRING: It is possible to expect long lines at check-in, so please arrive early. Ensure that your player brings all of their equipment as they will be required to perform several drills including hitting, running and catching. (If your player does not have the equipment needed, MLL will provide it to them for the evaluation)

DOCUMENTATION: If you have not uploaded the required documents during registration, Maricopa Little League needs those documents to finalize your player’s eligibility. You can upload these documents to your account or you will have the opportunity to drop them off in person on Sunday January 20th from 3-5pm at Pacana Park. If all necessary documents are not received your player will not be eligible to play this season until this requirement is fulfilled.

EVALUATIONS: Evaluations times will be staggered by age groups, the check-in times are as follows:

SATURDAY 1/19 10AM-1PM @ COPPER SKY FIELD #3
(It is preferred for your player to arrive at the age groups indicated below. If your player has a scheduling conflict preventing them from showing up at the indicated time slot, they can participate in evaluations at another time slot.)
• LEAGUE AGE 8: Playing minors do not require to attend evaluations, they will be blind draw drafted onto teams
• LEAGUE AGE 9: Check in @ 915-945 am, evaluations begin promptly at 10 am
• LEAGUE AGE 10: Check in @ 945-1015 am, evaluations begin promptly at 1030 am
• LEAGUE AGE 11: Check in @ 1015-1045 am, evaluations begin promptly at 11 am
• LEAGUE AGE 12: Check in @ 1045-1115 am, evaluations begin promptly at 1130 am

• LEAGUE AGE 12: Check in @ 645-715 pm, evaluations begin promptly at 730 pm
