The coaches must 1st send their results to thier convener who in turn should update the standings. Some are much quicker then others depending on the convener. I know most convener will usually try and get the results updated within 2 days of getting the scores. I have also had other conveners who will hold all results till the end of the wekk and then update everything.

I like it better when scores and standings are updated very quickly.

All scores must be sent to the conveners so they can make sure teams are getting there games in. Years ago they had to be mailed in or called in, now only a email needs to be sent.
I would guess that the software for this site would be set up to have coaches update there own scores.
As a coach I am glad I only need to send an email and not have the extra work of posting my results as well.

Schedules were posted by this time last year. My guess is that it should be any day now. I would just keep checking on a daily basis. That is what I am doing.

You will do what? Be a volunteer, a coach, a board member..? Or submit scores in a timely fashion for every team in COBA?

But based on your response, it appears that you do not currently volunteer your time which satisfies me to know that you are so quick to make statements like the one above but you have never been that position.

...so scores are not entered on here in a timeley fashion because I,me,BlackDog does not volunteer his time ?

So the person volunteering his time is obviously not doing his job.

you need to get of your high horse buddy becuase you have no idea what I do or dont do.

You are so quick to judge others by making claims that people are not doing their jobs when have you ever been in that position yourself? Wow…I couldn’t imagine what you would have been like during the times when score sheets had to be mailed in.

Excuse me but to be on a high horse means an individual who is being inflexible, arrogant and not willing to make any compromises which sounds like you – the one making bold statements.

And based on this thread, I would say that what you don’t do is volunteer your time so it makes easier for what you do and that criticize others!

I'm basing my statements on your postings. What do you base yours on? A game should be forfeited? Quite irrational to make such strict rule when the standings are updated on regular basis. Why even make such posting??

Yeah...I have bit of time of my hands however, I am not the one stipulating how things should be done either...so I'm not sure what your point is!
