Many people are fed up with rep ball - from bad coaching to over coaching to daddy ball ...etc. What are the alternatives for playing competitive ball in Ontario ?(other than House League)

I'm considering elite and also Little League eventhugh LL may be a step down from the current rep ball that my son plays.

..are there any other leagues that I should look at ?

If all else fails the question comes again can my son move around within the OBA fom one team to another I have yet to get a definite answer on this. I have seen kids leave in the Major Bantam year to player on other OBA teams without getting a release.

Like every parent I just want what is best for my son.

A few years ago once you made an elite team you were able to play for any OBA team you wanted. That has now been changed and you can only play for your home team or who ever held your last playing rights. If you wanted to play some where else you would need a release.

Your son must play where he lives. He can play some where else if he gets a release from current team or his living arrangements change he can then play where he lives, Mom lives or Dad lives.

The problem is baseball is not a lot different in different in other cities you just don't see the problems. Once you were there you would begin to see them soon enough.

oh I'm aware that other teams may have their own problems but my son needs to get away from the polluted atmosphere on his current team.
