HOUNDS BUZZ BY HORNETS

The Military Ball has become a tradition to honor the military associated with Northern Burlington and Pemberton . The pregame featured the color guard of the Air Force ROTC as the National Anthem was played. Gonzo was fine tuned for the evening as she kept the hornets in check all evening. Gonz wound up giving up one hit, surrendering one base on balls and struck out eight. A dominating evening for Gonz. The hounds scored two runs in the first inning with Jules clubbing a homerun over the left field fence. Nine players in the dawg pound would register hits in this game. The hit of the game came off the bat of Arch as the exit velocity of this missile had to be one of the quickest of the season. The ball strafed the field as it left the field in what must have been warp speed.
NOTES-The defensive play of the game was courtesy of Tre Blue as she majestically went airborne (fitting at the Military Ball) and snagged a foul ball to record the out.
