Bears rally to defeat Owls
Billy Coleman went 3-for-3 and Chase Mercon pitched 5 2/3 innings of 2-hit ball as the Bears defeated West Lawn, 7-4. The Bears trailed, 3-0, after the Owls scored three unearned runs in the top of the second inning. But Chris Davis's booming double highlighted a 4-run third inning as the Bears took the lead at 4-3. Coleman then highlighted a 3-run fourth with a two-run double as the Bears stretched their lead to 7-3. For West Lawn, Ryan Graff capped their 3-run second inning with a line-drive, 2-run single.
