Bears defeat Post 217 in Playoff Opener
Tyler Sharayko, Cole Galloway, and Nathan Fox combined on a 3-hit shutout as the Bears opened their participation in the 2021 Berks County League playoffs with a 10-0 win over Post 217. The Bears broke open a tight game with 10 runs in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings to end the game by the 10-run rule in the bottom of the sixth inning. Ethan Martin and Jon Myers each had 3 hits for the Bears, who collected three consecutive triples in their sixth-inning outburst.
